Not Again
Not feeling it today, but I dove in anyway. I'm having a hard time focusing. And it's creative work. . . And as I'm doing it, I realize I need to make structural changes and functional changes to the game. Right now I have a bit of placeholder data that kind of fits what I've built. But I need to edit my underlying data, along with the localization data, to make changes. But if I'm going to do that, I should also implement other changes I realize I want.
Like in my dialogue system, I need to change talking points. I need to be able to define prerequisites, and I can't yet. And I don't really feel like doing that right now. But I did actually do something. I decided on the very first initial greeting the player will get from c1ty_c0re. It's not much, but it's something. And I also realize changes I need to make now to the dialogue system.
Next Time
Dialogue! Yeah, gotta change it a bit. Will I feel like it though? We shall see . . .
